VIOLATION OF TRAFFIC RULES

A man, among several jaywalkers, raises his hand to signal a vehicle to stop to cross the Airport Road, instead of using the footbridge just a few feet away. Violation of traffic rules continues amid the ongoing Traffic Week, which was launched to strictly enforce traffic laws.

WHAT'S THE POINT OF A RAIL GATE?
Rail gates are meant to keep the tracks clear of traffic when a train passes through, but a metal pole on a pivot is no match for human nonchalance. A rickshaw puller and his passenger squeeze through the closed rail gate.

Pedestrians of all ages -- talking on the phone, or with a child tagging along and groceries in hand -- all saunter onto the tracks with a train approaching.
