Fellow Steemians,

I'm writing to you with the sad feeling that They started to get to US. Yes, They, the Banking System, the Order, the Giant Beast; against the little fish.

I just woke up to a sad reality that wasn't true during 2017. At least not here, in Portugal

I have been a client of Santander for some years now. I've been more or less satisfied with it's NetBanking interface, with the professionals that advised me, and even with its fees as they kept me as a student for some reason, so I get to pay a small monthly value to have an account and a simple debit card. The banking system in Portugal started to charge large amount in fees just to have a simple Checking account. That's even worse when we are talking about a country that a couple of years ago just had been intervened by the IMF.

After the crisis and the austerity that We had to go throug, with the governement using our taxes money to capitalized the failing banking institutions, now we have to pay bigger fees to let the banks keep our money... Again?

DECO, the association for the Consumers Defense, was working on a legal initiative to stop banks from charging such FEES for no actual service or operation. Before that went forward, THEY just started to change the actual definition of their fees, finding a loophole to keep exploring the banked.

They should be aware that we are awake, fearless, and really angry. How many more times must the beast feed from COMMON MAN before it collapses from starvation?!

Now, another sign of fear. This same bank, as others will follow, without mailing their customers, just canceled the SEPA transactions to Coinbase. The "OR450" error message appears. Contacting the support by telephone, the answer is redundant. Without really explaining anything, just that the transaction to that specific account is canceled by the institution. Some customers say that the NORKOM is involved. Others say that it is the BANK that is protecting us from possible aggressive investments or insecure transactions. How could it be if the Santander itself is an investor in so many digital currencies including Ripple and Red Lyra?

They are afraid. The time for a solid blockchain alternative to the Traditional banking System as come!

The alternatives are being researched. If you have any suggestions just let me know in the comments below. Ultimately that just warns us, Europeans, that the enemy is upon us. If they want a war, they'll just end up finding an empty battlefield because we will let them alone taking from them the only true power that they have: our own hard earned money!

And in the BLOCKCHAIN we trust!

The beast is protecting itself, but we are smarter :)

Yes! Time for a Cryptocurrency Bank! :D

Do you know if other banks are involved? Do they impose the same problem?
