Online Banking taking a new approach

The online bank that rewards it users via a Community.

I joined Fidor Last year sometime as it came up amongst a crypto currency search in Google. It's a friendly online only Bank that isn't dictated to by fat cat bosses sitting in fat cat offices eating fat cat cakes, well at least that's my thoughts on it. The Bank runs on a community driven process so when you join up you have the usual security measures but then you become a member of a community that get rewarded for questions and ideas that will potentially make the bank a better bank - for the people - not just for those that run it! I made £5 quick easy with some saving suggestions and questions through the forum and you also get bonuses for inviting friends to join a) the bank and b) the community.  Hre are some of the ways to earn a little extra for being helpful -

So please take the time and use my link below  :-)

Another good aspect of this is that the interest rate is dependant on facebook likes. The more likes they receive on facebook the better the rate of interest on your account! it is currently at 0.30% pa. If you want to help raise this then please visit and like their facebook page - Fidor UK

Due to community requests, things like savings bonds, investments and crowdfunding have been added. This means you can purchase or use funds for Savings bonds which accrue interest. The investments part is done through nutmeg and the crowdfunding is done via seedrs. None of which I have yet ventured into as there are requirements for each and I simply don't have the funds to pump into them at the moment. It certainly looks interesting and as soon as i have free funds I won't hesitate.

The bank also offers a free debit card too - which is also chip and pin free if thats your game. I have used mine a few times now and never had any issues, I think there is a limit to its usage at the moment but then updates happen all the time so search the forum for answers as I can almost imagine someone has asked the question before.

I'm afraid this Bank currently only accepts UK residents that are 18 and over, please read through the pages of information for further nuggets of info around the pros and cons of Fidor before signing up to anything.

I will not be held responsible for anything that may happen during your use of this product.

These are my opinions of my use of Fidor bank UK.
