Chase Wants to Know My Taxable Income - Isn't That Cute?

in bankingsystem •  7 years ago  (edited)

Good morning, Steemians!

I find it kind of funny that when I log in to my credit card via Chase (I know) that they are asking me my taxable income. I hit "No thanks" down below. First of all, they can find that information out if they want to.... They have my SSN and are in collusion with the federal government.

"This information also helps us to give you relevant offers." Don't want nor need any offers from you, Chase! Just happy that you idiots gave us $150 when we opened our credit card with you :P Easiest money I ever made. In a few short months, I'll have my balance totally paid off and shred your card ;)

Anyone else take advantage of 0% interest cards with signup offers, pay of the balance before the 0% is up and repeat? Free money is so nice! Only sad part of this whole charade is that for me to be able to take advantage, I know that other people are getting f*cked in the a$$ by Chase and other credit card companies. I never pay interest. Won't do it.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by Steemians! Wondering if anyone else is getting this message. I won't give that information willingly. ;)

I once got asked for my SSN to get a free magazine. Hahaha, I talked to two people up the chain of the first person to share my feelings on that! They never called back. I've steered away from credit cards but maybe I'll have to find some 0% offers... Thanks for sharing!

Sweet...I adore free money lol. Kudos to you for not paying interest!!! I don't either aside from my private mortgage. Even that I don't like but at least it's paid to an individual and not to a corporate bankster.

tell them to go suck on a carrot...get it? lol

:D yeah

yes sir you are absolutely right :)

Trouble is, an amazing amount of people will just give it to them.

Every now and then Facebook tries to get me to give them my phone number. Oh hell no. But it shows me how many of my friends have done just that, like it will help me give it to them. It's disheartening to see all the people who did it. That's the way they've tried to program all of us though.

Yep. Oh Jerry did it, I will too! Sheeple

Use a credit union. I stopped using banks a long time ago and never looked back.

I hesitate to give any information out anymore, especially SSN. SSN was never meant to be used as an ID.

I don't use Chase as my bank... Just taking advantage of a credit card offer... I doubt credit unions give you $150 for opening a credit card. And I didn't give my SSN. Did you read the post? lol

Ya I read it, just putting it out there about the SSN. Actually, credit unions were doing the $100 to open an account with them earlier this year and last. Free money is good if you can get it without any succumbing to the strings attached, like you did.

Well here's a fat upvote for me being an ass lol

Not at all man. Sometimes I write like shit before, during and after my morning coffee.

lol
