Here are the many places I visited while in Bangkok, Thailand. Bangkok is an interesting place, full of people shopping, working and living their lives. There are an enormous number of street vendors, tuk tuk and motorbike drivers, and shops trying to sell things to tourists (and probably locals as well). Outside the tourists areas the prices are very reasonable and several places I was able to eat quite a large meal for like $2. In the areas where prices are low the people speak almost no english so you have to work around that. Overall I liked Bangkok and it is worth the time to explore it. You could spend weeks wandering around. There is plenty to see, get on the water taxi down at the Saphan Taksin BTS station and explore the city via the water (it only costs about 15 cents) OH, there are other water taxi services there but use the one with the orange flags on the roof, the others are like 100 times more expensive (literally) and don’t take you to near the places. I'll cover each place in more detail in subsequent posts
