I haven't seen it yet, but Barbie could literally liken all men to rats which should be put into concentration camps, while giving instructions on creating poison to put in their drinks, and I still wouldn't be "offended".

I don't know what its' message is, or should be perceived as, but offended? Growing up, comedy choices included "Blazing Saddles" and "Big Trouble in Little China". Lenny Bruce is not afraid.

I've heard women should leave their Barbie ideals behind, and I've also heard that the Barbie movie is actually an attack on Barbie ideals they should hold on to.

How about we not say what feminine ideals women should or shouldn't have, and let individuals decide for themselves?
Y'all can pry my Star Wars love from my cold, dead hands.

Don't get me wrong, maybe I see it and I think the message sucks and shouldn't be promoted. Maybe I think it's just not funny while it's trying to be. Whatever. I might just say so.

But I certainly fault nobody for nostalgia. I have several Star Wars tattoos and artwork in my house. My bathroom is Dr. Who themed. I have a TMNT arcade game in my bar. Haha
