I published the paper. My identity stayed hidden to avoid any "funny" business like the one you experienced. Now that the whole thing has really lift off, I have no reason to do so anymore.
I disagree that #BTC is part of the banks system. Some of them became part of BTC because they realized that either they adapt or perish. The rest can go on with their monolithic ways.
Finally, even if they manage to bring down BTC, there will always be a lot of other options out there. Healthy competition. This time, they cannot bomb their way out of it...
