Sitting here in the lobby of the Hyatt ( San Diego Style ) I am looking at all these " journalist " types running around and trying to look busy - why they make up some " Hot Tip " they got from a supposed insider - it is comedic really........
When they do " break " a story and get it right they puff out their chest and " glad hand " fellow scribes and hanger-ons - but more often than not ( I would say 90 % conservatively ) when they get it wrong ( Gerrit Cole to the Angels comes to immediate mind ) nobody calls them on it........
Just the world we live in now I suppose........it all starts at the top - we don't really trust anyone anymore.....too many Indians with opinions and not enough legitimate Chiefs
Fascinating to say the least.......a lot of self important people here......that aren't really all that important :)
