World Baseball Softball Confederation President Ricardo Ferrari has said that Pakistan holds its place in the world with regard to sports, we look forward to the steps taken for the development and promotion of softball in Pakistan. Young people, especially women, are showing their keen interest in the sport, WBSC will also provide every opportunity to Pakistani players and coaches for advanced training and coaching of softball.

He expressed these views during a meeting with Asif Azim, Secretary General of the Softball Federation of Pakistan in Doha, Qatar. Secretary General Datu Bang Cholo was also present on the occasion.

Recorder Ferrari also praises that pakistani softball federation has introduced the game in its own country in a very short period of time due to their strong efforts, the popularity of softball root level in Pakistan is gaining popularity today.
