Ravers protest in Tbilisi

Following last night's brutal raids at BASSIANI and CAFE-GALLERY, Tbilisi's club community turns up for a thousands-strong protest rave in front of Parliament of Georgia. Resident Advisor is front left in spirit.

Dozens of people were arrested in last night's crackdown on nightclubs in the Georgian capital, including BASSIANI cofounders Tato Getia and Zviad Gelbakhiani. Now თეთრი ხმაურის მოძრაობა (White Noise Movement), an activist group closely linked to Bassiani, are demanding the resignation of Georgia's interior minister, who ordered the raids, as well as Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.
