Here is an article that appeared on Medium.com that lists the some of the different basic income trials that are taking place. It also details the specifics like how they were funded and where they are.

They are:
Y Combinator Basic Income Initiative (USA)
Give Directly (Kenya, Uganda and Rwanda)
Programa Bolsa Familia (Brazil)
The “Programa Bolsa Família” is considered the most ambitious and successful income transference program undertaken by a government, according to the United Nations.
Check out the article for more details on each experiment that is being run.
It is good to see publicity around what is taking place. We notice the concept of Universal Basic Income getting a lot more publicity in the last couple of years. We are going to see this attention grow as more people start to focus upon topics such as generational poverty, income inequality, and technological unemployment.
This weekend is Mannafest which is a gathering of most of the Manna Project team in Virginia. It is a rural area meaning they are out of contact, for the most part, via cell phone. We will be providing updates next week. Please keep in mind there is a holiday in the middle of the week for the United States which might delay some of the correspondence since the team members will not be returning home until late Monday.
To get your weekly manna distribution, go to https://www.mannabase.com to sign up.
if you are intereted in basicincome type programs you should also look into @yensesa , they are building an interesting model for basic income

I know this is about UBI but it's worth following the development of #solarcoin
The model is fairly similar in that the coin is distributed freely, its just in SolarCoin its distributed based on proof of generation of solar energy, rather than proof of humanity.
It also has an altruistic purpose like MANNA in that it not only wants to incentivise transition to the clean energy future, but the community run funding drives for charities like SolarAid who are promoting clean energy projects in developing nations.
I see these as complementary coins, and personally am keen to see them both do well.
