Wow, thanks for sharing this knowledge. I had no idea about those upvoting rules. I will definitely try to learn more about these upvoting rules as I become more familiar with steemit.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
