Dunk Confirmation July 5th

A meth baby undercut me when I was scoring over two weeks ago which messed up my back. This was the first day I started to feel like myself and get some bounce back into my step. I haven't been able to reach down and touch my toes recently and the following days after I got hurt I couldn't even look down at my feet without it pulling on my lower back muscles. It was weird. This was a somewhat weak dunk but I felt good about it and this was at a different LA Fitness than I usually go to so it is good to always be able to dunk on every rim in the city.

I'm getting back to it now but I gained 5 pounds from eating junk food and not playing basketball. So I'm weighing in more around 215 lb right now. A great athletic weight for me is 205 lb but it has been really hard for me to stay at that with all the cupcakes and candy bars on every other store shelf around here. LOL

Did you try heat on your back? I'm assuming lower back? You should google lower back stretches

I didn't place it directly on my back but the garage gets up to 115 degrees right now so I just warm up in there. LOL

Nah, Never too short!!! I have been blown away in recent years of these guys who are 5'5" dunking. It is pretty crazy what some people are doing these days.

@brianphobos very impressive I was never able to dunk but then again some "White Men Can't Jump"......

Hahah, Well I sort of figured out a technique to it partially and it took a lot of experimentation over the years to figure out the optimal way for me to jump.

Also if I take much of a break from it then suddenly I'm struggling to elevate again. I'm always worried that if I stop dunking that it will go away forever and then I will be old. Hahhaha

Take care not to hurt your bones but I think you'll do fine. Just don't eat junk foods a lot. I think you are quite heavy and you can keep your weight in check by running on a threadmill don't you think so? @brianphobos

I hate running on the treadmill. It is like I don't go anywhere! Hahah. I would rather play basketball so all the running is fun.

I missed playing basketball so much that I forgot to how to dribble the ball. I wished that there is a restart button in life.
