Dead-eye shooter KC Rivers is in talks with Panathinaikos about a contract extension that would keep the veteran with the club until 2020.
Rivers’ current contract included an extension option for the 2017-18 season. However, the 30-year-old has reportedly been offered a three-year deal with the Athens side.
No deal has been finalised between the two sides, however there’s a mutual wish that Rivers wants to stay with Panathinaikos as the club rebuilds for next season.
Rivers averaged 11.2 points and 2.5 rebounds in the EuroLeague during his first season with the club and also had 8.9 points and 2.3 rebounds in the Greek League.
