I was looking around on my system for any programs running I didn't need or want running. I noticed ports 9280 and 35792 were on. Wasn't sure what it was so I looked at the process and saw it was user tor but I didn't install tor ...
I dug around a bit and sure enough it was coming from the developer version of Brave I was running.
I knew that tor-tabs were in the works but I had no idea it was already working. Open a new tab and you'll see a checkbox mentioning it.
I grabbed the onion link for DuckDuckGo at https://3g2upl4pq6kufc4m.onion, that link will only work if you use the tor network.

Oh, yeah. Remember seeing something about that. I'm personally not for that. The thing about tor is that if you're not running all your tabs privately, then it's pointless. Even you private browsing can be tracked over tor unless you're running all your tabs privately. I think they should fix that and not allow people the option.

This is really cool, glad to see Tor tabs are being added to Brave! While I don't use Brave as much as Opera (for now) on the desktop, it's my default browser on my android phone.
