A new type of battery could let people charge gadgets, appliances and electric vehicles in seconds.
British start-up Zap&Go has developed carbon-ion supercapacitors that allow rapid charging.
The current version is not able to store much power, but the company hopes future generations will store much more.

Great idea! Wonder how it works though... also, wonder if they can use it as tiles around the space shuttles for reentry, as it allows electricity to flow through, it might be able to allow heat to be transferred into electricity and create a self powered shield to cool off the craft during reentry.
But I agree Teodora, wireless samsung charger + this battery would be awesome!
