An Epic Battle awaited.

I was occasionally scouring the NextColony space for a battle considered epic by current standard. By 'epic' I mean a battle of large forces with multiple type of vessels from Destroyers, Cruisers, few squadrons of Corvettes and Transporters to haul the loot.

This morning a notification fired when @ABrockman send a formidable force over to another fellow clanster @powernap. To my surprise a quick spy search reveals @powernap has a significant amount of ships in his docks and can kick some serious damages. Anxiety rose in anticipation for such a space fight.

From the records, so far most battles (more than 90%) is not much of a battle per se. Either is an outright loot of unmanned Alphas or solo Corvette against an exploration colony, which doesn't stand a chance. Therefore, it was refreshing to see such. Okay maybe there were some battles by top 'killer' @Rivalzzz which I may have missed, but this encounter happened & caught my attention on this uneventful Monday morning.

Battle clock counted down 3 hours plus, and was cancelled at the last hour. Why? A mistaken co-ordinates entry. What a 'potong steem' moment, right?

Anyway, I did a quick simulation to see if the battle did continue, would @powernap be annihilated?

Probably not and luckily unfortunate that it was called off by @abrockman

If by any chance you've witnessed a battle at this proportion, kindly comment below. By the way, NextColony doesn't have any fancy graphics or animation of a space battle compare to StarCraft, however one can put those imagination juice to work, a little.

Banasphere progress update - still peaceful for now at Beta Ring 2/0. Constantly building Crovettes at 10 per day, 5 - 8 explorations per day, upgrading to Mission Control level 4 and expecting to complete enhancing Transporter and Destroyer skills.
