I was able to find a site with the transaction information of BTC & BCH. This is the closest data I can get that would give us a picture of the transactions of BCH. It doesn't show though the transactions it can handle in a second. Based on this screenshot, there are 2823 BTC tx compared to 945 BCH tx in the past 3 hours. That would compute to around 15 BTC tx per minute and 5.25 BCH tx. But this is already wrong as chain.so reports that there are about 153 tx/min for BTC. Oh well, I hope chain so would also support BCH to get this kind of data. I sent an e-mail to block.io, the developer of chain.so inquiring if they could support/add BCH.
Considering that BTC has high transaction fees and is very congested for fees below 0.001 BTC, it still has a lot of transactions per minute, increasing from 140+ tx yesterday to 150+ today. The price in USD is still below 17k, but will it turn to a bull run before the year ends? I think it will.
10 days to go before 2017 ends. BTC will be around US$20k+ before we see 2018. BCH will be around US$5k+ by Jan 1, 2018. I'm not a trader, I don't short/long any of these coins. I cloud mine both and I believe the market will bounce back for BTC & more adoption of BCH as the reasons for the increase. :)
Until next time!
