@rogerkver is Roger Ver's Steem account. He is the founder of Bitcoin Cash. It is notable that he uses Steem to post semi-regular updates on Bitcoin Cash.
Not everyone likes Bitcoin Cash or Roger Ver. That's irrelevant. But what is relevant is that Bitcoin Cash has the fifth largest market cap of all cryptocurrencies. It is currently $3.75 billion.
What's also relevant is that you won't see any Bitcoin maximalists posting on Steem, except perhaps to milk it and immediately trade all their rewards for Bitcoin.
How many other founders of cryptocurrency projects in the top 20 on Steem do you know of?
To me, it would seem logical for any and all crypto projects to be on Steem because Steem has 30,000 monthly active users who are all in crypto by default. A lot of people here talk crypto all day every day.
Why isn't a much larger chunk of all the millions of people who own crypto talking about crypto on Steem? Some of that has to do with Bitcoin maximalists calling all other cryptocurrencies shitcoins. The author of the Bitcoin maximalist Bible, The Bitcoin Standard goes as far as to say Bitcoin is the only worthwhile use case for blockchain! We obviously disagree with that.
I've seen one whale flag Roger Ver's posts despite them making almost nothing. That's counterproductive bullshit, in my opinion. I think flagging his posts makes no sense whatsoever unless there is proof that whoever controls that account is not actually Roger Ver himself and uses it without his knowledge or permission.
I think it would be great if Steem attracted enough people in the Bitcoin Cash community to motivate Roger Ver to become much more active on Steem. It would be even better if all the other founders and developers of in the whole space followed suit.
Dash also has an account they post relevant news regarding that currency. I am not sure if it is part of the Dash foundation team or someone else but they appear to have a good presence.
I think ultimately, we might see Steemleo become a site where people post to get their crypto "news" out.
