Mainnet smart-contracts audit has been finished recently by Smartdec and now we are almost ready for the launch! Exact release date will be announced this week after more internal platform tests. For now let’s have a look at features that are implemented for initial mainnet launch.

General focus on initial functionality was aimed towards today’s cryptomarket. There is no flexible and convenient solution for crypto deals yet and BCShop.io platform will fix it.

Cross-device and cross-browser support

BCShop.io platform will be available on multiple devices and in multiple browsers, no software installation is required.
Additionally, there is no need to register in order to access platform’s functions. Your Ethereum wallet is your unique identifier. This also allows for direct interactions with the platform without intermediary transactions.

Multiple wallets support

Users will be able to choose most comfortable way to interact with the platform. The following wallets and access methods will be supported: Metamask, Ledger, Trezor, Keystore and private key.

Customizable offers

Merchants will be able to customize offers for their personal requirements. One of the key options allows for price to be set in USD (as alternative to ETH) and it will be correctly handled when the buyer makes actual payment in ETH. Additional customization options include:

• Limited time offers
• Activation and deactivation of offers according to availability
• Flexible information which can be requested from buyer including option to add custom data fields

Escrow support

We slightly rescheduled development roadmap to include Escrow support in initial release. Escrow can be attached to any offer to make deals much more trusted. It gives buyer limited time to open a dispute if merchant is not acting in fair way.
Escrow system is powered by Ethereum smart-contracts and either buyer or seller are guaranteed to receive the money after dispute is resolved.

BCS holders exclusive features

Some features will be only available to BCS token holders. Short list includes:

• Commission discount for Merchants
• Cashback rewards for Buyers
• Alternative payment option
