The Khelaghar Samaj Kalyan Samity has won a great victory in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. In the fifth round match held at Fatullah Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium today, the Khelaghar team lost by Agrani Bank by seven wickets in the pair of Mahidul Islam and Ashok Menaria.
Prior to winning the toss, Agrani Bank scored 259 runs in eight wickets in 50 overs. Zahid Jabed top scored with 54, captain Abdur Razzak 30 and Shahriar Nafees 29 runs.
In reply to 260 runs, batting first, losing 3 wickets for 40 runs in the first innings was lost, but Mahidul and Ashok's 221 runs in the fourth wicket quickly accumulated in the team win. 14 balls in hand, they give the team victory to the port.
Mahidul scored an unbeaten 115 off 131 balls with four boundaries and one over. On the other hand, Indian cricketer Ashok scored 11 fours and three sixes in an unbeaten 113 runs.
Pacer Saiful Islam took 3 wickets for 33 runs for Agrani Bank. Khelagarh Mahidul won the Match Seerah award.
