BE STILL

This world is so full of hustle and bustle and constant change. Technology moves faster than I can keep up and it seems appropriate if needing something quickly that asking a teenager is your best option.

When speaking with a friend her advise to be about life, not just technology but everything was BE STILL. She told me that her mother was a native Indian and would often take the children out to the woods on a beautiful day with a blanket and tell them just to sit and BE STILL.

I think to BE STILL would allow peace and nature to penetrate your soul on a deep level. The sounds of nature would create a peace to gratify the soul.

Unfortunately in this fast passed life I don't take many opportunities to BE STILL. Do you?

I have recently changed a few things in my life to allow me a few more opportunities to BE STILL. I have noticed that once still and quiet, ideas flow more rapidly, business, life, opportunities and conversation flow more easily after taking a few moments just to BE STILL. Positive thinking and gratitude flow and all in the world seems just a bit better.

To BE STILL in mind and deed has always been a little difficult for me. Rushing to the point of exhaustion always seemed like to better option. Being busy meant success. Not so. Listening to your deeper thoughts and intuition, those gut feelings that I often would push aside somehow have a little deeper importance since practicing to BE STILL.

My sister has heard me talking about the phrase BE STILL and decided to make me this sign. I love it. Enjoy your Friday and give yourself a chance to BE STILL.
