The Beach

I went to the beach.
I took certain items.
I took my towel, it's needed to dry myself off after my swim.
I took my wallet, it's needed as it contains my driver's license which I need to drive my car, without it, I'd be in trouble! I never be without my license, which means I'm never without my wallet.
I took my keys, which has the keys for the house and the car. Can't get in the car and drive, nor can get in the house without the keys. So I takes it.
I took my cotton buds, to dry my ears after my swim.
I took my hearing aids, which I hears with, to hear my music. I took my mp3 player, which I am never without, I need music like you need fresh air. It's good to block out the tinnitus which I am plagued with every day. Been that way for nearly 40 years now.
I took my spare t-shirt, and that's about it.
But I takes my special bag, it's a very tough bag, a bag that protects my stuff.
I put it all in there, and I wears my shorts, and my canvas shoes and my t-shirt, and I carry the bag and it's all comfy.
I gets in the car, throws the bag in the passenger seat, and off I go, ho ho ho!
I boom along the streets, onto the highways, to the beach, and there I am, standing staring at the beach, the lovely ocean, the waves whispering onto the shores.
Whispering? That's how I "hears" it, you know. I don't know if the ocean sounds like noisy or whatever. I imagined it sounded like a whisper of a lover. "Come in, lover, come swim with me, I'll caresses you, keep you cool in hot summer, warm you in cold winters, love you like no other..." who knows if that's what the ocean whispers! Hahahah!
I sees a nice post sunken deep in the dune along the beach, paused to put all my important stuff in it, locks it up tight, and I go walking to the shore, and then walks into the waters, ohhhhhh it's like silk, a lover's hug. Then I sinks under, and swam around and floats and lazed on my back, staring up at the sky.
Now and then I looks over at my stuff, hanging there, on the post, locked tight. Safe. And I don't worry, I live more and worry less. I enjoyed my swim thoroughly.
People walks by my stuff, looks at it occasionally, and no one ever bothers my stuff, it's locked tight.
