Sta. Cruz Island got its name Pink Beach for the color of its sand. The pink hue is a product of crushed red organ pipe coral that washes over the seashore. The local government is taking care of their precious tourist spot and is doing everything to preserve it despite having visitors from other lands.
"Most of the tourists are attracted to the beauty of the beach which like it came from a different dimension. The place looks magical because of the contrast of colors of the crystal blue water and the pink sand.

To visit this place you have to first talk with their tourist office. Staying overnight is prohibited. You can find other pink beaches in countries like the Out Islands in Bahamas and the Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda. However, with the gorgeous gift that has been blessed to the Philippines, you do not need to spend a fortune just to have a unique travel experience.
