My passion is the beach, I had the blessing and luck to be born in a land, full of beautiful beaches, of which I have visited, all without exception are beautiful, but those of Ocumare from the coast are all a paradise. Since we left Maracay, hot land, when passing the lemon alcabala is like a magic trick, our brain is disconnected from reality and we begin to enjoy, as if we were in a fairy tale.

We arrive at a large ranch, where there is a viewpoint and you can see Maracay in all its splendor, there you can taste a hot chocolate, "my greatest pleasure," we left the heat, the mist begins and a tasty cold, the mountain invites us to relax, and oxygenate the brain.

The road is full of bushes, plants and small stream that help maintain this spectacular climate, when we start to see houses, we are happy, for the attention that these humble people give us, but with an incalculable wealth that is humility and good humor that characterizes them, it was time to eat some delicious empanadas de cazón (fish).

We pass by Aponte, there is a beautiful chapel and the river passes the "threshing" here begins that heat again, and the breeze brings us the smell of the sea, which tells us that we are coming to our destination. Throughout the journey we see native people selling their crafts, and how not to miss cocoa in pasta.

We arrive at the town of Ocumare, it is beautiful and loud as there all the locals and tourists converge, for each one to go towards their destination. It is almost impossible before taking our route, which delight us with a good fish, fried, grilled or in sancocho and good and refreshing drinks such as: lemonade, paper with lemon or the "cold"

Our destination, Bahía de Cata, is an expanse of blue water, surrounded by fine white sand, is the oasis of the gods, there is nothing more beautiful than a sunrise or a sunset on the shore of this beach.
