A fresh batch of 40 giant clams was recently planted off the coast of Nasugbu in Batangas. These organisms, which were raised in laboratories in Bolinao, were selected for their natural habitat.
The 40 giant clams were placed on Santelmo Reef in Hamilo Coast. This year, over a hundred giant clams were planted in the area. These blue clams can live up to hundred of years. They were there before you were born.
