I get spoiled by our beaches in South Florida. They're so wide open, long, and clean. Rarely full.
Whenever we go to other beaches, such as up in Cape Cod, the difference is dramatic. They fill up quick, and the parking lot is always packed. Still, it could be much worse. Getting to go to a beach at all is always fun.
Going back in time to August, 2015, we visited Marconi Beach, part of the Cape Cod National Seashore. Just a couple images, but it shows that while the beach was not completely overrun, it was pretty active and colorful.
Perfect day. Looks like we'll have to walk a bit to find some open space.

That really is a packed beach! I will take any beach, but given a choice, I’m an abandoned beach person myself— always looking for misty shorelines with just a few birds running along the edge and maybe some guy in a parka throwing a stick into the surf for his dog. 😊

You know, that's one of the main reasons I enjoy going to the beach. I don't really swim around much, and I'm not much for a dark suntan either. I do like watching all the people, and kids, and birds, and all that.

It's going to be tough to find a spot right there. But it's fun, you get to see and met new people. Next month will have our own outing here in PH, can't wait though.
