Sunday is a quiet day in my house and Hubster and I often go on an afternoon drive to the seaport town of Souris. This is a photo from when we were there last summer.
Souris is about a thirty-five minute drive from the house. It has beautiful seascapes and beaches.
This is the first beach you see before entering the Souris downtown area.

Here on the red sand beach two ladies are searching for sea glass.
There is a sea glass festival every year somewhere on the Island. At the festival there will be sellers with jewelry and many unique things made out of the sea glass.
Further up the beach two men lead their dog in the water. The dog seems a bit hesitant. The water of the Atlantic Ocean can be quite cold when you first go in. Later I saw him happily running about, in and out of the water.

Thanks @emjoe. Yes, I looked for sea glass too. I try to find red or blue for it is rare. Didn’t have much luck that day.

Thanks @cOff33a. I don’t do much editing to my photos except sometimes straighten or lightly enhance. I took this one last summer and the beach and sky are really this beautiful on warm summer days. September is a great time to visit...come on over to the Island.
