On the Bench Today - Next Peyote Feather

in beadwork •  7 years ago

I decided to keep on the same colour scheme, so we will see how many different designs I can make with the same set of beads :)

This one is a Heritage Turkey Feather, wrapped in Willow Elk

or if the designs keep coming long after I cannot stand to make one more in these colours! It will be one of the two...

It’s my favorite color combination for beads. Like fire and ice or something. :)

Me too :) Though I love greens too...

7 colours and 26 rows will have many awesome
choices :-) Very pretty @elew!!
When I work with the same colours for to long it
does make me want to switch to something else of
different shades for awhile. Whether beads or
yarn it's nice to play with other spectrums at times.

Yes, I agree completely :) With over 50 feathers ready to bead, I know I will go into mind melt if I change up the beads too much, so I try and flow through a few designs with one scheme, then shift and that refreshes my mind and new designs emerge :)

50 feathers! quit a few, good thing it's winter, maybe
your mind won't melt :-) tho that made me think of
the vulcan mind melt, as in star trek lol

I understand trying to stick with the same scheme of beads. Plus it helps me make up my mind how to tackle the next beading project. Resteemed Upvoted Followed!

Yes, exactly...and thank you!
