Your video editing is quite good. The progression reminds me a bit of the soundtrack to Secret of Mana on SNES written by Hiroki Kikuta. I would love to hear this midi ran through some 8-bit patches. I like the simplicity and straightforwardness of your composition.

@hfigueroa, the melody on this is pretty good, I like it but your mix don't sound to good on this instrumental. It needs to be cleared up some more and sounds need to be leveled down some more. The clap on this was not very strong and neither were the kick. It sounds like you used some stock sounds instead of more professional sounding kits. This could of been a great listening experience if you would of mixed this down a little bit more and added better drum work to this beat. The mix to anything type of music is always the ultimate key to user listening experience and I think you should work on that to make your instrumentals sound a lot better. I think you're playing around in the beat battle cause I know you got something better hiding in your stash. Beat battling is not a game my dude, you better take this seriously because your reputation is on the line! Stop playing with us and show us what you really got!!! Good post but it can be a lot better once your mixing game improves ;-)

Appreciate the feedback and yes, I am working on my mixing game. I don't know what you are trying to insinuate, that I am playing a game? I joined this beat battle to get better and that is what I am aiming to do. I am always down for a critique no matter how harsh, but to say I am not taking things seriously, is just offensive and I do not appreciate it at all. If you ever been to a live beat battle, you'll see people saying "stop playing around" or "he's not serious yet" type of hype, like the best is yet to come.
