Hello Everyone! I'm very excited to announce our newest weekly contest which will run alongside the Beat Battle League, but is open to ALL MUSIC PRODUCERS. Beginning at the start of week 4 of The Beat Battle.
Introducing the Music Producers' Feedback Contest!
This contest is designed to help all music producers on Steemit step up their game and get their tracks even more crispy and bangin.
The rules for this contest are extremely simple. Post your track in the comments for feedback and make sure you REPLY WITH FEEDBACK ON AT LEAST ONE TRACK from another artist. You will not qualify for the contest if you do not provide feedback. At the end of the contest winners will be selected. Both the best and second best feedback comments will win whaleshares. Additionally, the creators of the tracks on which the winning feedback is posted, will also win whaleshares.
*Please do not spam random tracks in the comments, any tracks posted without giving feedback will be downvoted and will not be eligible for prizes.

That's right. You can win Whaleshares just by posting a track and receiving feedback, but make sure you leave feedback or you won't be eligible!
This contest is operating in partnership with the Beat Battle League! So this contest will start each week at the beginning of The Beat Battle, and end when The Beat Battle ends.
However, you do not need to be participating in The Beat Battle to participate in this contest. This contest is for all music producers of all genres.
We will however be riding the beatbattle tag for a few weeks until we gain some traction. We might go ahead and make our own tag in a few weeks.
This contest does not begin until the start of Week 4 of The Beat Battle. However, if you'd like to start posting tracks and feedback in the comments feel free. I will provide feedback for all tracks until the contest begins.
Whaleshares are on BitShares, so make sure you have a BitShares Wallet to receive and send them for upvotes on your Steemit posts!

I would not change a thing in this beat. Everything is in the place where it supposed to be. I love the mood of track and when I listen to it, I go back in time when I was on Seasplash festival (really cool Dub festival on beachside). This is the beachside where this festival happened:

really like the style of your beat! very relaxing! maybe use a little more fx on the background and make it stereo a little. Also panning and stereo the higher tones, and mono the lower tones makes it easier for the compressor to not whipe out volume so you have a more cleaner mxi at the end. That's my tip :) hope it helps a bit. ohh and maybe a little more mid freq on the guitar with a slight reverb would make it sound phatter and more stereo too!

Feedback: I really love the synthwork you have going on in this track. It's really dance-able and head bobby. The mix is super clear on my headphones. (sorry no monitors to test with right now) If I could add anything to this beat I think it would be some staccato pitched up vocals, preferably female. This track holds it's own just fine, but adding vocals is always a great way to make tracks seem more "human."

I really love the dubby vibe on this track. Kind of reminds me of old king tubby tracks. Which is why if I could change one thing, I would try to add some more trippy delay and reverb effects to make the track a bit more spacey and dubby.

This track is super rad man. I love how heavy it is without going over the top. It's difficult for me to provide a lot of criticism because this track is so well put together and mixed so tightly. All I can say is the drums sounds slightly low/quiet on my headphones, could just be a matter of preference, but might be worth taking a second look at on your end.

Cool, that sounds like a nice idea! I'm about to step these @instrumentals up to another level!!! Enough playing around now, you just turned up the heat!
