#Beatport became the first major #digital #music #retailer to start #accepting #Bitcoin (BTC).
Beatport, the largest online #store for #DJs in the world, will begin accepting Bitcoin this June, according to an April 20 report by #Music #Week. Beatport CEO Robb McDaniels said he wants to lead the music community in adopting the new technology:
“Even in the midst of a pandemic, it is clear that the DJ / Producer community is willing to embrace industry new technology and innovative environments to interact with their fans, and the world of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens is an example.”

In addition to adopting Bitcoin payments , Beatport will also release its first NFT collection titled "Music for the Future Dancefloors". The list will feature 10 exclusive tracks from world-famous DJs, including Boys Noize, recruited by pop music star Lady Gaga for her latest album. It will come with additional visual material for guest cards and fans.
Last week, the band Kings of Leon, behind hits like "Sex on Fire" and "Closer", introduced their latest album as NFT. Shawn Mendes, the most recent names like The Weeknd crypto currency Domestic Ig participating in the ınlıg among the most famous musicians.
