always interesting to see CT music production, are you originally from there?

as for the beat, it certainly has an experimental aesthetic to it - usually adult swim bumps come to mind. good note on ChainBB as well, I'll be sure to give it a look.

Ya I was born and raised in the suburbs near Hartford. Great place to grow up, I had a comfortable childhood & very grateful for that - BUT, as an adult, I can't stand being in Connecticut for too long. I get bored lol. My hat is off to all the musicians there, its just hard when a lot of people move away to NYC / Boston / Philly.

Are you from CT?

thanks for the adult swim reference - they are a huge inspiration for me :-)

Yes - in fact, im still based over here in Southington. no one can stand CT for too long which is why i cant wait for the day i pursue academics elsewhere in the country! but there are some underground artists over here that are really about their music and its culture, which is always nice to observe (especially in this snorefest of a state).

I'm new to steemit but you're one of the first posters i found so I'll probably be lurking the music scene on here. keep up the good work and take care friend

Oh that's awesome dude! My condolences for you being in CT, it can definitely be rough as an artist. Thank you for checking out my blog, I'm glad you enjoy it.

One more question real quick - you ever heard of Bonsai Trees? That is my brother's band, they are based in CT and killing it. Rock stuff, not electronic. They do a lot of fun stuff in the area, might be worth connecting with them if you are gonna be in Connecticut for a while :-)

Never heard of them, no. I've always been into all sorts of rock, though, so there's nothing wrong with more local gigs to indulge upon

Thank you for your condolences. It is indeed rough for artists but people are still putting in their 100%. I make beats as a secondary hobby but I like to stick around the production, as im always expecting big things for the CT scene.
