Situated over a bluff with a terrific perspective of the Palea fountain of liquid magma, Nea Kameni, and the island of Thirassia, Oia is the most prevalent and seemingly the most delightful of all the pleasant towns of the excellent Greek island of Santorini.

Just around 11 km from Fira, on the north of the island, Oia will beguile you with its conventional stone houses coating the restricted boulevards, amazing blue-domed temples, and sunbaked verandas.

While the town has its offer of bars, trinket shops, and bistros, Oia is more calm and laid-back than occupied Fira and a great many people make the most of its curious excellence by gradually investigating its limited avenues.

Walk around the town's little port of Ammoudi by slipping 300 stages down the bluff, or appreciate vivid exhibitions displaying craftsmanship from the numerous specialists who began to look all starry eyed at the town and made it their home.
