Panama City Panama Temple
During a visit from President Gordon B. Hinckley from The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in December, 2000, he told the saints that if they exercise faith and obey the law of tithing the members will be blessed with a Temple.
Less than two years later the construction of the Temple was announced and on October 30, 2005, the groundbreaking ceremony was held. On August 09, 2008 a cultural celebration was held titled "Temple in the Jungle" with reference to the edifice location.
Some 33,000 people toured the building before it's dedication. The Temple was dedicated on August 10, 2008. For additional information please visit the link lds.org

I would have to agree with you there, amazing that they can build it in the rain forest.

It is wonderful to know that we can take the best of us to such beautiful buildings where the Lord literally avows.
