Beautiful Sunday

in beautifulsunday •  5 years ago

I had a walk in Darwin Forest in Derbyshire today. Lots of lovely greens in about 44 acres.

The forest is really peaceful and it is used as a holiday resort where you can stay in log cabins.

Darwin Forest is great for walking. There's a circular walk and shorter woodland walk if you don't fancy a long hike.

smell like should be fresh air there.

Fresh air and wet trees. 😊

What a lovely hike! Has it stopped monsooning over there? We've finally had a little break in the weather. It's nice to see the sun.

We've had a few nice days but we are still having bouts of rain. You get fed up with it don't you?

I really do. I've lived in Oregon most of my life, but every once in a while we have a year that goes over the top. It's really the mud that gets to me.

In my estimation, the second image is a standout photographic composition. I'm curating your post just for that image!

Congratulations @ellenripley

Thank you. I usually pick the wrong photo! 😁

You're welcome. We all have that problem when it comes to looking at our own work with a critical eye. I try to start by putting the photos in, the looking at them on the screen display; then, I pick the one I want to lead my photo essay. I still get it wrong many times, I think.
