My DIY Salt BodyScrub...instead of 69Euros, I spent around 0,20 cents....it is quick easy and works wonders

the above image is a wonderful 69 euro Body Scrub salt I received from a friend as a present... I was reluctant to use it as I wanted to save on it... made me think a bit why not just try to make my own to see if it works out too... I had an old empty container from a hair treatment...
and I used very few simple ingredients...
fine salt
Aloe vera body oil
orange essence

first I poured the container almost full with the fine salt

thenI added about 3 tablespoons of Aloe Vera body oil ( you can use any body oil...I just used Aloe Vera because I bought it for only 0,99 cents and since I have been in the sun a lot the last 25 days I thought it might be quite soothing for my skin... I did add a bit more oil later as I found the mixture just a bit to dry...it is about finding the combination that works for you !

I used a wooden chopstick to stir the oil in...then it was pretty much ready ... but I remembered I had some orange essence

I added 2-3 tiny drops to get that lovely smell of oranges... the portion was about 50ml(the same as in the pricy one...)

I used it after I had washed in the shower...all over even in my face...and rinsed... towel dried and the effect was immediate, lovely fresh and so soft skin that felt very well cleaned... the cost of this portion is actually less than 0,20 cents... so a great way to spoil yourself and your skin ... defo gonna do this more often ... maybe once a week... and guys this isn't only a neat thing for woman... it will be awesome for your skin too... make your own variations add your favourite essence ... use a neutral babyoil for best fragrance results ... yummie !
The pricy one is great too... but this is a neat and cheap homehack...

Wow that's amazing! I wonder if it will work with coconut oil? That's what I have lying around. I'll need to get some orange oil. Looks great. I might try a bit of sea salt as well. Forget about paying 69 Euros!

exactly ! it is easy to make and really great to use...I think you can use coconutoil only important thing is that it is an oil for the body... let me know how it works out ( the orange essence I got in a biostore)

Thank you! I will. I'll look for aloe oil as well, maybe a combination. Amazing how much money we waste on store bought items. If I were more into those bath bombs like from Lush I'd make them myself because they charge ridiculous amounts. I'd actually rather not risk staining my bathtub red green and blue!

Yes the prices of some products are just also a bit out of hand I think, hehe so if we can make something similar with ease at home I think that is great ... and this was so easy a couple of minutes and done ...
