NYX HD Finishing Powder - Review
Today I want to share with you my experience on the "NYX HD Finishing Powder" in the color "transparent".
I was looking for a transparent powder for my combination skin, which does not make the skin look cakey, slightly matted and has a blur effect. According to NYX, this powder is supposed to do just that. But I can already tell you, for me it is a fail and flop.
Description of NYX:
A light and translucent powder that reduces the appearance of pores and fine lines. This silky pressed powder provides a fresh yet matt finish.
Ingredients:
Talc, Dimethicone, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Magnesium Stearate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol. MAY CONTAIN / PEUT CONTENRY (+/-): Mica, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77491, 77492), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090) .

My opinion:
I have chosen the color transparent and that is already my first point of criticism. Unfortunately, it is not transparent on my skin at all but white. It really leaves a white veil. Since I'm very pale, it would not be so bad but it is also really very powdery and ugly on the skin. I can describe it hard but it really bothers me.
The powder is relatively fine and soft but still very powdery, as already mentioned. It also emphasizes every little hair and dry spots on the face.
You can see it well on the photo, how powdery and white it is.
Conclusion:
For me, the NYX HD Finishing Powder in transparent, as already written above, unfortunately a flop. I know that some are very happy with it and really like it. Either I caught a Monday product or it's just on my skin.
