MEMORY VERSE: _Genesis 18:17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do.
In today's devotion we continue our series on how to decode the secret of God concerning our future,family etc.
We learnt how God revealed his plans to Abraham through "Obedience ".
Today we want to look at one character trait of Abraham and that is the spirit of an intercessor and how God was pleased with it.
In Genesis 18:24-3, the Bible explains that Abraham interceded for his nephew (Lot) and his households despite the initial challenge he (Lot) gave to the oldman (Abraham).
The Bible continues that, Abraham, as old as he was stood on his feet and interceded for Lot until the angel agreed not to destroy Sodom, if he found ten righteous people.
Brethren, the Lord is always looking for people who can stand in the gap and be intercessors for the body of Christ (the church), lost souls, families, nations and the world, so He can show them His mercy through his visitation.
May you receive the fire of the Holy Spirit to be an intercessor. Shout Amen!
PRAYER: Dear Lord Jesus, let me be the vessel to stand in the gap for your church,lost souls and my family.
INSIGHT: Intercession brings Gods glory on earth.
