This is one of the many native bees we have. Usually they are found in small hives and produce few honey but it tastes really good. They are incredible helping pollinate flowers and they are not aggressive.
I know someone going to college over in Costa Rica and they love it there. They also keep raving about the sweet ketchup that is the best thing they've ever tasted. I am curious about that now because I love ketchup. Is there a name for it?
