Unexpectedly light and smooth. Nice maltiness and maybe a little oak too.

Looks like a great beer. You can’t go wrong with a light and smooth beer that has hints of oak.

I’ve had a few barley wines and not been a fan

I have only had a few so far, and I am growing to like them more. This one was much less fruity than previous brands and that is why it was unexpected.

the ones Ive had have beer really hoppy and Im not a hoppy fan.

I am right there with you. I was into the IPA and double and triple hopped years ago, but now I do not want a bitter hopped beer.
