Only $14 CAD? 😉 I've paid up to $50 USD for a beer. Most Cantillon beers are at least $35 USD (even though you can get them in Brussels for 9 Euro). I think I have at least 10 beers in my fridge now that are at least $22 USD. Anyway, this beer looks great and welcome to the world of rare and expensive beer! It's a fun but expensive "hobby." 🍻

Yikes, and I picked out the most expensive thing in the store just for a go. I'm sure as with anything you can find something extremely expensive. https://www.mensxp.com/special-features/top-10/8714-10-most-expensive-beers-of-the-world.html I might stick to some of the Cheaper ones for a bit, need to work up to the specialties.

I was looking at some past selections at the Beer of the Month club and they had one rare beer still in stock so I asked how much it was, and I could have gotten two bottles (including the outrageous shipping) for about $48. I passed.

Yeah, somethings are just Novelty, a lot of cheap beers hold there own vs. the high end ones

You make me mouthwatering. Lol

Good that was the plan!

Looks good, I love vanilla stouts! I’ve paid more than that for a beer before but not much more!

Ive also paid more for a beer before, but that was at a Hockey game, 15 Dollars for cheap beer yuckk.

yeah not sure that counts. lol

$14 is your most expensive beer ever?!?!?! Oh my god I'm so embarrassed right now. $30 BA stouts are far too common in my house, with my most expensive being $80 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦

I agree lol. Whenever I tell people how much I spend their jaw drops...I think you just find yourself really into it and some of the barrel-aged ones or sours stored for a year can get much more expensive. But I think it is like anything else, some of my friends are really into surfing and the money they spend on traveling and gear is extreme. I think craft beer is similar. If you are into it, you will easily fork over the large amounts because it is your interest.

Jeez, I've been experimenting a bit around town, I thought I was a baller buying that beer. I am not sure I could justify 80.00 on a beer. I have bought 200.00 bottles of scotch but that lasts around a year.

Hmmmm, it must be a nice liquor to taste. Time to drink. Thanks for sharing

Man we ought to drink this together while watching Arsenal play. 😍😍

We're gonna need a lot more than this one beer to make it through a gunners game. That Swansea game was the death of me. Here's to LMAO scoring half a dozen against Everton tomorrow!

Haha. Here here. I'll drink a tub of beer to that

vanilla coffee must taste good friend yes.

$14 for a beer, thats so expensive but if it looks pristine, it pours nicely, it has vanilla and a typical like stout aroma,i think its tasty and i will try it.

Give it a go, it is very good, I wouldn't buy it everyday because unfortunately it is really expensive.

So what's the best beer you've ever tasted?

It was a small batch made at Troubled Monk, aged in a Bourbon cask. I asked them if they could make it again, they said they could but it would never be the same.
