Care for a brew? Part 1

in beer •  7 years ago  (edited)

I live on the west coast of Canada, that means there are copius amounts of pubs and micro breweries, all with outstanding beer. I want to start a series of some of my favourite places, maybe you'll find it useful if your visiting this part of the world.

A small pub close to home. With a ton of beer! Around 40 on tap.

Its called The Churchill, you can see by the photo, there are a lot of taps, this place is crazy busy at night, but early afternoon its pretty quiet, i prefer that. Most of their beer comes from the west coast of the US and Canada, some euro stuff....the euro stuff is getting better?

Looks like a great pub. What beer are you drinking in the last photo?

i forget the name...its an IPA, i need to remember names

Looks nice and hazy. I’m wondering if it was a NEIPA.

Steamworks Brewery, Flagship IPA

Looks like a solid 6.7% ABV NEIPA. The ratings in Untappd are almost 4/5 I will definitely try this if I see it.

whats the beer in the picture? a session IPA or something along those lines?

thats a flagship spa, its from steamworks brewery (vancouver)
