Double Doobius is an 8.4% alcohol/volume Imperial/Double IPA made by Bad Sons Beer Co. in Derby, Connecticut. The name Bad Sons is an acronym for the towns that make up the Connecticut "Valley"; "B" Beacon Falls, "A" Ansonia, "D" Derby, "S" Seymour, "O" Oxford, "N" Naugatuck and "S" Shelton. It's a fairly new independent craft brewery pumping out delicious IPA style beers. The Double Doobius is banger of a DIPA featuring copious amounts of Citra, Mosiac, and Idaho 7 hops.

The Can

The Double Doobius is served in a full pint can. The label is black and it features a flaming hop-skull in teal and purple colors. It's a bad ass label for a Bad Sons beer, that's for sure.

The Beer

The Double Doobius is a hard hitting, flavorful double IPA. At 8.4% alcohol/volume, a couple of these will do you good. This dank and hoppy DIPA is a crisp orange when poured into a glass. It tasted great for such a strong beer. I look forward to trying more brews from Bad Sons Beer Co. in the future.
