Cockney Liz Wild Card, by Sabie Brewing.
It is Wednesday evening, it is Ice Cold and mid winter here in South Africa, and I am outside, testing an even colder Beer!! My wife bought some matured steaks and was not in the mood for cooking, thus we decided to Braai!!
Braai and Beer always goes together!!
The beer I tested today, was a Cockney Liz Wild Card, brewed by the Sabie Brewing Company. They are craft brewers, situated in the small town of Sabie.
There is a nice story about Cockney Liz on the back of the bottle.
This beer comes in a 440ml bottle and has 4.5% alcohol, it is a proper craft beer and is unfiltered and unpasteurized.
It pours with a hazy dark orange color, with a very nice fluffy head on top!!
This beer just looks great!!
It does not only look great, it also tasted great!! I loved this beer!!
Just look at that fire going in the background!!
Like I said, I also had some steaks to braai!!
Below is the plate with food. As I mentioned, my wife was not in the mood to cook, thus we had ready made coleslaw, and boiled corn, with our steaks!! Nice!!
My wife only informed me around 17:30 that I needed to braai, thus it was an unexpected braai and beer, which I enjoyed a lot, thus I am posting my 3rd BEER post for the week. I need more surprises like this!!
I hope you liked the post as much as I liked writing it.
I hope you have a wonderful day!!
