I’ve had Pink Floyd’s before, sometime in 2016 I believe, and was surprised by it’s completeness. Bottle art is part of the fun for me and I dig the bottle art for three floyds quite a bit. My local beer zone grabs ales from all over Ohio and each state next to it, so it’s nice to get something from Indiana.
This Pale ale is worth having for sure. Just enough ABV to get some rush, so get your water in between sips to keep straight, but the flavor covers the alcohol taste quite well. This is the first level of requirement for an Ale to be quality, it has to not taste alcoholic at all.
Is the ale T H I C C ? In the right way possible, yes it’s got some thickness but not too intense. The combination of aroma and taste merges into a wondrous and vigilant flavor. Very drinkable and easy to toss back, so go slow to enjoy it fully. I feel this would pair well with a spiced up, paprika and jalapeno sauce with maguro tuna or steak. It’s reasonably strong with a divisive complexion that will satisfy any hop-head.
