God commanded Christians to drink alcoholic beverages (Ephesians 5:18). Due to drunkenness and its consequences, the Bible considers fault (Proverbs 23: 29-35). Christians are told that they do not let their bodies "lord" under something (1 Corinthians 6:12; 2 Peter 2:19). More than drinking alcohol makes it addictive. The Scriptures have prohibited that a Christian should not do anything that any other Christian interferes, or incites them to sin against their conscience (1 Corinthians 8: 9-13).
