Today I decided to have the Revanche II, a beer by the Belgian brewery "De Dochter van de Korenaar " (The daughter of the cornfields)

The brewery makes a lot of different beers, many are limited editions. Many great beers, some are less so, although ofcourse people have different beers.

This beer is the Revanche II, in the past there was a Revanche, but I didn't have that one, so I can't compare, nor do I know how it's supposed to relate to the other one.

It's an IPA (India Pale Ale) and according to the label, triple dry hopped.

It is a good beer, especially for it's fairly low alcohol content of 7%, compared to the 8 or 9% you'd expect for a beer like this.

Sme acidity, lots of fruitiness due to the intense hopping ofcourse. The finish is malty, giving it a good mouthfeel and provides for some sustain, rather than a watery finish you sometimes get.

Good summery beer.
