You probably already saw in my anniversary giveaway the Beercoin token and today I wanted to explain you what this tokens are.
The Idea:
The idea is that in every beer bottle cap of the participant breweries there is a QR-Code that you can scan with the Beercoin Apps that is available for Android, IOS and Windows. Each QR-Code will then give you 1, 10, 100 or even 10.000 Beercoins with a certain probability. In average you should get 2.98 Beercoin per scan. The Beercoins them self are ERC20 tokens.
What can you do with the tokens?
The tokens can be used like every normal crypto currency and can be traded like that. In addition to that you can also use them to buy Beercoin merchandise or more beer that you can use to get even more Beercoins, the ultimate beer-cycle. Otherwise if you are already drunk enough and want to do something great for public or the world you can also directly on the app donate the Beercoins you got to a charity organization of your choice.

Who is behind this project?
It is a small German Start-Up from Bavaria that mainly created by those 3 guys that are all beer enthusiast:

- Moritz Markgraf
- Christoph Niese
Since the start the team has grown a lot and also the known German Steeminans @detlev und @uwelang are part of the the crew. By the way they also have a steemit account named @beerchaintech, make sure to follow them to get every news.
How can I get some Beercoins?
At the moment there are still in the ICO phase until 30 of June, which means you only have 3 days remaining to participate. During the ICO they will only sell 5% of all Beercoins and all remaining from this ICO will be burned. Meiner Meinung nach netter Marteging Gang. Was ich aber nicht ganz verstehe wieso schon am anfang 95% der coins verbrannt werden und wie die Entwickler vorhaben "beercoins" an den mann zu bringen. werden die dann normal gemint oder gestakted oder legen die entwickler coins zur seite und verwenden dann diese für die Bierflaschen bzw QR codes?

Ne es wird der rest der 5% vernichtet die nicht verkauft wurden und die andere 95% der Coins werden so zu sagen gemined in dem du die QR-codes scannst.
