Well, if you don't like the beer it's still a terrible reason to drink it. 😁 But if you're ambivalent or trying to choose from equally bad options, it is something to consider. Sapporo or that bland brand owned by Lion/Kirin? Saporro.

The opposite can be true for good brands owned by, for lack of a better term, assholes who hurt smaller, independent brewers. I choose not to buy these beers anymore, if/when it can be helped.
